“The journalistic approach of Jeremy Xido caused quite some stir in town, not only because the topic Xido had chosen to work on – a jewelry shop owner that shot two robbers – but also because of Xido’s presence in town : an American guy with a camera interviewing witnesses and asking for comments from people on the street. The regional television channel even dedicated a news piece to his investigation. The result was presented in a bar next to the crime scene and was attended by many people with an interest in the case. Just after the festival, the case went to court,, and the final decision was self-defense…”
